Sunil K.C. Files Candidacy for Nepali Congress Central Committee Member from Workers’ Quota
Everest, Kathmandu, October 7 - Youth leader and social activist Sunil K.C. has filed his candidacy for the post of Central Committee Member under the workers’ quota at the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress.
Prioritizing the rights, dignity and welfare of workers, K.C. has presented his candidacy with a commitment to ensuring fair wages, social security, safe workplaces and job security, while bringing workers’ issues to the policy-making level.
He has also included the protection of rights of workers in the informal sector, special rights for women workers, skills development and expansion of employment opportunities, as well as the safety and welfare of Nepali workers engaged in foreign employment among his key agendas.
