Wuling is part of the globally recognised SAIC-GM-Wuling automobile partnership, which also includes General Motors.
In Nepal, the brand currently offers three electric models — the Wuling Xingyuan, Mini EV and Darion — covering different segments and use cases.
Focused on electric vehicle technology, Wuling’s lineup is designed to serve a broad range of needs, from everyday urban commuting and family travel to versatile SUV requirements.
Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd. is the authorised importer and distributor of Wuling vehicles in Nepal.
Three Models for Different Needs
The Wuling Xingyuan is a five-plus-two-seat electric SUV that combines power, efficiency and versatility in a single package.
It comes with a 69.2 kWh battery, a claimed range of up to 530 kilometres, a 150 kW motor and 310 Nm of torque.
The Wuling Mini EV, available in Nepal as a four-door, four-seat compact electric car, is designed primarily for everyday urban mobility.
Introduced under the concept “Fun Everyday, For Everyone,” the Mini EV features a 25.1 kWh battery, a claimed range of up to 301 kilometres on a single charge, a 30 kW motor and seating for four.
Meanwhile, the Wuling Darion is positioned as a seven-seat MPV aimed at family-oriented use, offering additional space and performance.
It is equipped with a 69.2 kWh battery, a claimed range of up to 540 kilometres, a 150 kW motor and 310 Nm of torque.
With its seven-seat configuration, the model is designed to provide greater practicality for family journeys as well as everyday use.
Eight-Year Warranty on Traction Motor and HV Battery
A key feature of Wuling’s product lineup in Nepal is its long-term warranty coverage.
The company provides an eight-year or 150,000-kilometre warranty, whichever comes first, on the traction motor and high-voltage battery of its models.
As the long-term reliability of the battery and electric motor remains an important consideration for EV buyers, the warranty is expected to provide customers with additional confidence in the long-term ownership experience.
One Brand, Different Needs
From the versatility of the five-plus-two-seat Xingyuan SUV and the compact, urban-focused mobility of the Mini EV to the seven-seat family-oriented practicality of the Darion, Wuling has introduced a diverse range of electric vehicles in Nepal aimed at different customer requirements and lifestyles.
With a focus on technology, practical design, comfort, safety and long-term ownership confidence, Wuling is expanding its presence in Nepal with the aim of making the electric vehicle experience more diverse and practical for consumers.
