Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen and South Korean Won Rise Against Nepali Rupee
The Nepal Rastra Bank has increased the exchange rates of the Chinese yuan, Japanese yen and South Korean won for Thursday.

Everest, Kathmandu, October 8- The Nepal Rastra Bank has increased the exchange rates of the Chinese yuan, Japanese yen and South Korean won for Thursday. Compared to the previous day, both the buying and selling rates of all three currencies have increased.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan has been set at Rs 23.05, while the selling rate stands at Rs 23.14. On the previous day, the buying rate was Rs 22.97 and the selling rate was Rs 23.06. Accordingly, both the buying and selling rates of the yuan have increased by 8 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.76, while the selling rate stands at Rs 9.80. On the previous day, the buying rate for 10 yen was Rs 9.73 and the selling rate was Rs 9.77. Thus, both rates of the Japanese yen have increased by 3 paisa.

The South Korean won has also become more expensive. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 11.55, while the selling rate stands at Rs 11.60. On the previous day, the buying rate for 100 won was Rs 11.50 and the selling rate was Rs 11.55. Accordingly, both the buying and selling rates of the won have increased by 5 paisa.

Meanwhile, Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one US dollar at Rs 154.55 and the selling rate at Rs 155.15 for today.

The buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 173.02 and the selling rate at Rs 173.69. Similarly, the buying rate of one British pound sterling stands at Rs 204.42, with the selling rate at Rs 205.21. The Swiss franc has been fixed at a buying rate of Rs 185.50 and a selling rate of Rs 186.22.

Likewise, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.68 and the selling rate at Rs 108.10. The Canadian dollar stands at a buying rate of Rs 108.67 and a selling rate of Rs 109.09, while the Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 120.76 for buying and Rs 121.23 for selling.

The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at Rs 41.17 and the selling rate at Rs 41.33. Similarly, the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 42.40 for buying and Rs 42.56 for selling, while the UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 42.08 for buying and Rs 42.24 for selling.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.

The central bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. Exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s website.
